Durable yet lightweight, Acme’s PVC-U panels are quick and easy to install and are ideal for exhibit displays, retail store displays, space enclosures and indoor emergency shelters. The panel system is at least 50% lighter than most conventional portable free standing slat wall or hard wall system and can easily be handled by one person. An average 2" thick 4' x 8' wall panel weighs only 46 lbs., so there is no need for expensive fork lift installations. A standard 10 x 10 enclosed space will take only two people to set up in minutes. This will translate into hundreds, even thousands of dollars of savings for your business!
• Panel Structure •
PVC-U, an un-plasticized poly vinyl chloride.
The letters "PVC" stands for Poly Vinyl Chloride, which is a chemical compound of chlorine, carbon, and hydrogen.
PVC is derived from petroleum, or natural gas and common salt. The "U" stands for "un-plasticized", (or sometimes "unmodified"). It means that the material has not had chemicals called plasticizers added to it to soften it.
As for any environmental issues, PVC-U is 100% recyclable. |
